Anyone try putting Tesla motor in rear of Tacoma yet

    Plenty of Teslas crashed in junkyards to pull parts from.

    You probably know of Rich Rebuilds on YouTube.
    Seen someone Tesla swap a B8 S5
    Not sure what else it's been done to.
    I think EV West used to sell conversion kits for $10k

    IDK if you'd put a motor for each axle, or one in front longitudinal bolted to the trans. Batteries probably wouldn't be a floor.
    Or what kind of range it would even get.
    At that point you might be looking at an e-Jeep or Rivian.
    upcoming SIlverado is electric

    probably cheaper to swap to a diesel
    more torque, more MPG
    but no longer cheap. It used to be $2/gal. Now it's $5-6+
