First step of working on this truck. Cut zip ties and remove front bumper for more access and light. Got all but 5 lower oil pan bolts out. The five remaining ones were so rusty they were no longer a 10mm head, or even a 9mm. So they're getting cut with a dremel and smacked with an impact driver. If that fails, moving on to cutting the heads off and removing the lower pan. Then removing the upper pan and extracting the studs sticking out. Plenty of old mud and dirt and rust under here, nobody to blame but myself for that. Engage safety squints!

Eh, that was my only update for the night. I called it a night there since I have work tomorrow. Will probably put in an hour or two after work each night this week to try and get the pans off.

 

With my truck, I've got custom-painted wheel skins that I put on in the warmer months; In the winter, I take them off and put on the factory center caps...
