That's how I got started, I still keep that shitty flux core machine around just in case.

 

It's funny because that's how I planned to have started but I can't say no to free school!

What welder is it that you bought?

 

I just went to HF one day and walked out with the old 90A no gas flux core machine that only has high and low power setting haha

Now I have a Lincoln 140HD in my shop

 

Any of you guys on here have a filtered water tap in your kitchen, feel like I should install on with the majority of my pipes being old galvanized units still.

 

Just get a under the sink setup. Looks better and works better

 

But for 20$ this one isn’t bad, what my parents have

 

Those are what I was looking at, but there are so many and lots of no-name brands out there now

 

Brita has theirs, and i feel you cant go wrong with a brita

@Speedytech7 they are all the same, its just making sure if you buy a no name it will accept a brand name filter. Most those no name usually copy a design and will accept good filters.

or get a setup that accepts cartridge, because then you just match the size and buy what ever you want (which is the route i would take) and what we normally use on are big ice machines at work

I have a Pur activated charcoal cartridge filter on the kitchen faucet. I'm on a shallow well with high Calcium, iron and sulfur.
It makes the water clear and tastes great. I only use it to fill 16 oz drinking water bottles for Dog and I.
Without the filter the water is nasty.
