I started reading back at about page 190 or so of this thread and that was the first one that showed me how to pull up the VIN info. Follow those steps and then after refreshing the page you will see some data that was pulled, some of them will be the VIN number of your truck (when you get it), click on the vin and you will see some more info under it, the main one obviously is the {eta} which is for your expected delivery date.

Yeah, It was 5% a few years ago and that number is shrinking fast, and yeah its nowhere close to 10%. You can view the spreadsheet of all the trucks being produced and there aren't very many.

Thats what I have seen as well but some months are a bit higher. I think is closer to 2% than the 5 though. this is kinda surprising based on the comments from this group. It seems a lot of other people in here like M/T. its seems like the demand is there for more M/T's

Just checked the spread sheet. Currently there are 2,256 tacomas in que to be built or in process but not presold. out the entire list there are only 65 with a M/T which comes out to roughly 2.9% so about 3 manuals for every 100 automatics. Also, I don't think Toyota offers a M/T on the 4cyl anymore, There aren't any showing up.

You would think so but considering the low production, it seems more of hassle for Toyota at this point. Will be sad when the 4th gen kills it off.

I agree, when they do, the resale value of manuals will sky rocket though.

Kind of what I theorized about; this suggests the 6MT take rate for the various V6 models which offer it is significantly higher.

What dealer are you going through? I am using "Team Toyota" in Langhorne and they say they never mark a price up above the MSRP. Toyota Dealer Langhorne PA | Team Toyota Langhorne They even state this on their ads on local cable TV.

I think it is the same here in southeastern PA. There is a large depot on I-95 just south of the Philly airport where most of the manufacturers distribute their cars from but Toyota doesn't use that facility.

Gladiator sales will jump quite a bit if Toyota dumps the manual. Hate to support a GM product but at least they are listening to their customer base and not BS industry insider reviews. I'm guessing the 4th gen taco will be a miserable truck compared to the last 3 gens. That is if you want an actual truck not a Toyota ridgeline. Just hoping to get an allocation soon so I can stop worrying about this scenario.

Finally! 4 months after deposit it is on a truck from 3 hours away. Guessing this means it could be here today or anyday. Status moved from "F" to "G"

Ummm, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the Gladiator was still a Jeep product which is owned by Chrysler/Stellantis; yes, no?

My build date was week 13 April 1st. Just heard from my salesperson that it has been pushed out to April 22nd. That's 3 weeks more... does anyone else have any insight on why this is pushed back so far? So far the rumor is tires, blind spot monitoring and the gases used in the tablet screens.

3 weeks ago I got the tires issue as why it been delay.
A few days later, the apps shown 8 mileage and tire pressures etc. Now the mileage shown 10.
My eta was suppose to be Feb 17, then it moved to Feb 26th, then March 31st.
But here I am, still waiting. But as long as it slowly moving.

Rumors have been bouncing around, but I've yet to see anything concrete about Tacoma production being paused or whatever. One would think at least a news story or two would pop-up regarding a production pause of a top 10-15 selling vehicle in the US...but I've seen nothing at all. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My TRD Off-Road is set for production this week (week 14)...I reached out to my dealer on Friday afternoon to see if they had heard anything these rumored delays, and my salesman hadn't heard anything about it. He was going to look into it and let me know. It's a bit reassuring he hadn't heard anything, as I'd think dealers would have started hearing that rumor (or Toyota corporate would communicate that)...and my salesman seems on top of things. Then again, dealers seem utterly clueless half the time. Hoping to hear back from my salesman today...I will update if/when I do hear from him.

Its a temp vin due to the letter in the last six digits. The 2 digits before the letter indicate week it will be built. Yours is week 13 build ( unless theres a delay) after its built your dealer will then have a permanent vin for you and hopefully an estimated eta. When you get your permanent vin you can keep an eye on stuff like the miles its been driven the tire pressure and gas gauge in yhe toyota app. Doesnt do much for your deliv date but helps pass the time during the looooooong wait

I cant get the dealer site to work for me. It just returns a blank screen. Would anyone be able to run out my temp VIN for me? 3TMCZ5AN6NM13C909
Dealer told me the build was pushed back to 4/22, but I am hoping for the best and that it snuck through into production.
    Thanks!
