    Has anyone done the voltage regulator mod thats showing up later this month? Running two AGMs now in the truck and they never rest above 12.2 because of the low charging voltage. Truck never really gets above 13.9 when running.

    Yes.

    I'm running the HKB diode in the Alt-S slot for my starting battery, and a CTEK DC/DC charger for my house battery.

    Aside from the cost, the HKB is a no-brainer.

    $160??? I paid about $60.

    IMO, you don't need the adjustable model. It doesn't hurt anything (obviously) but how often will you adjust it? Sure, you can fine tune the alternator output to get exactly 14.4V (or whatever the battery likes), but I don't believe being off a few tenths of a volt in either direction will affect anything.
