Fun new issue today. Went outside and noticed a small wet spot on my driver's side slider. Huh. Gas cap area is wet too. Strange. Open the gas cap and gas starts flooding out. Close it back up...open it again and gas starts flooding out. It just kept puking gas...LOTS of gas. I filled up a few days prior and have driven maybe a dozen miles. Parking the same as I always do. The weather hasn't been hot. Started the truck and no check engine or any other warning lights.ayne it needed more time to run to decide there was an issue? Why would pressure build up so much and where how does the system normally bleed off pressure? The charcoal canister pushes captured fuel vapor through some sort of valve I think...maybe it's finally clogged after all those overfilling incidents I struggled with on my tank? And it just gave up in the last day or two?

My parents wagoneer did this when the fuel filter got clogged long ago. The engine was starving for fuel and it was getting pumped back into the tank causing it to pressurize and leak past the filler cap.

Fuel issue seems to have been an isolated incident. No issues since.

Having a pretty dope Monday though!

Took my tool roll, recovery gear, roll of quarters and, likely most problematic, my camper keys. I'm not sure I have spares of all of those keys. It included the roof rack, aluminum boxes, camper door and max Trax lock. I'll dig into that today and see what I find.

For sure. I'm not sure why they took those. There are for more valuable things in the cab that they left behind.

I think I have spare rack keys. And I looks like I have a spare camper door key. And Pro Tech (aluminum box maker) is here in Vancouver so they can probably help me out with new locks/keys.

I've been threatening to buy a console vault for a couple of years now. Nothing like waiting until it's too late to place that order!

Turns out my neighbor has video footage of the lady who did it. I'll be curious to see if I recognize her. I'm out in the garage a lot so I see a ton of people walking by.

This is the crew that did it. Done dirty by my own Tacoma family. They drove by a second time...I remember this truck driving down the wrong way on my street when I was out surveying the carnage.

This came from my neighbors security camera. That girl scoped his house, checked my dad's car doors then smashed in my window.

Can't like this. I hope karma catches up with them and they get what's coming to em. I had my toolbox ransacked once in the middle of the day. Took my tool bag full of tools and my janky creek boots for whatever reason.

Get the local TW sleuths on it. You'd be surprised what they can find with that photo and a general location.

Man it can't be said enough how shitty thieves are. I don't understand how people can think they are entitled to what somebody else worked hard for.

I appreciate the heads up, but Vancouver, WA is pretty far from Vancouver, BC, so not sure how much help I'll be.

Thanks. All Vancouver's look the same to some folks. :D I'll post it up in the PNW forum. Apparently there was a huge rash of smash and grabs this weekend in my area.
