    My job is sound. I can work anywhere in NA as long as I have decent internet access. Even my iPhone as a hotspot is good enough. Grand Junction, CO was high up on my list, but fck it is expensive there. Would have been nice to be so close to Moab and Telluride and everythng else, though.

    Single income wouldn't help, either.

    Noooope. It’s amazing that small towns are booming all over the west. Can’t find anything under 350k here. Not even a trailer. We got lucky last summer with what we found.

    Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.

    Stayed in Grand Junction last May. Quite disappointing. Only positive is proximity to everything. Arches was like 1.5 hrs with a stop at the Utah sign. Running 80+ on the interstate. Pretty awesome.

    I know @w.adventures is going to hate me for saying this but I'm kinda sorta probably thinking of selling the GX and replacing it with nothing right now. Just kinda over rock crawling. I drive the CT to work, have an old truck and a Miata. So I have most of my bases covered. Maybe get something else in the future. I think I still want a 4wd at some point.

    Given GX's prices right now, do ya'll think $18k would be reasonable or should I ask for more?

    my GX is parked too; and probably will be for quite some time. I got other shit going on and I love driving my CT.

    If I had a shop with a lift I’d be more motivated to work on it, but alas I don’t have that yet.

    My favorite thing about Utah. It’s 80mph speed limit as soon as we get on the interstate from the house.

    Double lame! $18k is about right with overland mods done to it. Could post it up for $20k and see if you find a sucker.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I thought about bringing it back to stock. The initial thought was sell it and buy a non modified GX. But mine is so clean (except the rear bumper :D) and all the main maintenance (TB, WP, radiator etc.) was done 2k miles before I bought it. That an a new dash recently. But I don't really "need" it.

    You just need to step up your game to overlander level 2. Get yourself a RTT and frappe coffee machine and sleep under the stars.

    But for real though the best part about having these vehicles is exploring and drinking around a fire with friends, not bashing the everliving crap out of them.
