The diy is for long tubes. it seems simple enough, its just going to be annoying to get to.

you should return your face to your mailbox where your headers havent been yet :D

Did you get under there and measure where the header would bolt to the old exhaust?

I'm pretty sure the federal govt has an emissions law/warranty, covering catalytic converters for 8yr/80k miles. It differs from your standard Toyota Warranty. I would inquire about that first.

    AK27, here ya go man:
    http://www.epa.gov/oms/consumer/warr95fs.txt

    "
There are three specified major emission control components,
covered for the first 8 years or 80,000 miles of vehicle use on 1995
    and newer vehicles:

    * Catalytic converters.

    * The electronic emissions control unit or computer (ECU).

    * The onboard emissions diagnostic device or computer (OBD).

Catalytic converters are critical emission control components
that have been installed on most cars and trucks manufactured since
1975. Since engines don't burn fuel completely during the combustion
process, the exhaust contains a significant amount of harmful
pollutants such as carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, and oxides of
nitrogen. The catalytic converter aids the conversion of these
pollutants to less harmful substances such as carbon dioxide, water
vapor, nitrogen, and oxygen before the exhaust is expelled into the"

    environment.

URD says to measure from center of the bolt holes. Its not actually the size of the tube but from bolt to bolt. should be 3 1/2 or 4 1/4 according to the site. With only one catalytic converter. They make yours all difficult.

So I took your advice and got the following message.
Customer reports that he feels he was overcharged $14.23 after receiving the $111.35 discount.
    Refund of $14.23 issued.
I guess I should be happy that I got the refund I was rightfully owed by the seller, however the tone of the reply was insulting. I mean seriously... I don't 'feel I was overcharded'... either I was overcharged or I wasn't. There is no feeling involved it just a simle fact.

The seller set a price via a 20% discount, I agreed to pay $540 (less 20%) just like everyone else in the GB. I was then accidentally overcharged and didn't even realize it until the seller pointed it out to me in this thread. I then sent a very respectful email asking If I was infact overcharged stating that the math came out to me being owed $14.23. Poor form by the seller for sure!!! :(

On a lighter note... I got the notice that the headers for the 4.0-V6 have shipped!

Fwiw, He had an attitude when I requested my refund as well. All in all, refund was received and headers are on order, so its fine. Just not how I would've handled it.
