Thanks for the details, I may have some questions as I catch up to you. I need to build some steering stops next and notch the steering arm. Brackets fit pretty dang good.

Notched the steer arm? Mine have no issue with turning radius or arm hitting the bracket at all

Does your axle use an 80 length short shaft? The way the contour fits the axle the pan hard axle side mount is an inch away from the high steer arm when pointed straight. I could modify the bracket and move it towards the center, but notching the arm is likely easier and gives me a longer panhard.

Nope. Definitely not using length of the 80 on the short side.

I can check tomorrow and see how far apart between arm and bracket

It looks like your panhard mount is totally different, comes further inboard (not 4WU?). Makes sense as your axle is ~5” wider (stock 80 is 64” I think?) too. It’s nice to have something to compare to, think modifying the bracket to bring it further inboard a little and notching the arm is my best path forward (gotta fit the coilover mounting tabs in there too)

All 4wu brackets. Only difference is they're for diamond 3.5" tube vs factory housing.

Just talked to Brian, I need to notch the steering arm. Also ordered up 7/8" heims from ruff stuff for steering links.

Steering arms drilled out, tie rod in (1.5x.25" DOM), started cutting.

Ive always been curious about slider boxes! May cut my shackle hangers off and do them on my truck sometime. Main reason I want to is to keep up travel without negative arching my pack, which is the main limiting factor on my 3rd gen tacoma. I do negative arch the spring a bit currently, but with a slider I could have the same/if not more uptravel while keeping the leaf flat at full bump. Ill report back if I get to it before you do

Decided I'm not brave enough to go slider boxes (unless you get to them first and pave the way). Leaning towards a 57" half ton pack (63" seems too long for a 4runner to me) with mounts below the frame, will french them in if it ends up sitting too high.

Update, ordered some Liquid Iron Industries ones and they said they will ship asap so we will see soon how they work out. Yeah 56/57s work just as well, both Ford 150 leafs and the Chevy leafs.
