Inspired by several posts here showing a 'deck' being added to the rear area of the access cab. This is what I came up with, works well so far.

Welp, if it doesn't work out, it looks like it will be as easy to reverse as it was to build. :)

    2016 ACLB
I've had my 16' ACLB for less than a week and I needed what you are doing. There is a big thread somewhere on here about it. I bought the DeWalt cases and the Tuff Matt and have yet to have time to install them properly but the DeWalt cases have already shown their value as I just needed places for random stuff. I went with the one open box DeWalt case and one with 2 "tool" drawers that seems to be a bit taller when flipping the back jump seats down. I'll get it sorted out the next time I have a weekend off (I'm hoping for June of '23) and mebby get some pics up. I have some socket organizers on order that will make the tool drawers a bit less rattly (I hope) I'm trying different stuff to cram a 309 piece Kobalt mechanics kit into something half it's size and the open box for all the other tools. Essentially I'm building storage for stuff I use 2 - 3 times a week or less with a flat spot that holds the stuff I use every day. Thinking about a power inverter to put in place of the cup holders in the middle, not there yet.

    Cheers,

    Doc

Did you remove the rear jump seats from your access cab? If so I am looking to purchase that "utility" kit
