I've spent a lot of time in this truck. Someone asked awhile back how things look inside and out. Here ya go.

interesting, I thought SRs have black cupholder trim, but yours look like chrome

other than that, did you do anything special to have the drivetrain last this long?

That truck looks amazing for 330K miles. I am curious what significant repairs have had to be done to the engine or transmission?

My 2004 Ford looked spotless inside and out at 120K in 2022. Sat outside at work five days a week. I'll be greatly disappointed if my paint and interior looks like that in 10 years, much less five. Mileage has very little to do with all that paint failure.

The only issues other than normal maintenance have been, AC Clutch , Brake Calipers and Floor mats. Change oil with Mobile 1 every 15-20k. Still running original plugs, rear brakes, all suspension parts and serpentine belt. Service Trans awhile back. 7 sets of tires , 5 front brake jobs, the last brake job I had to replace calipers and rotors. I planing on 500k. I was getting ready to trade it in on a new one but ending up buying a used Yaris do to gas prices.

Lol no. In 330K miles the leading edges will be sandblasted. Paint looks good for that mileage.

Also, this guy has driven eight hours a day for almost two years, every damn day. Stop and think about driving eight hours a day for two years straight... how would a vehicle look?
OP it looks great! Good job.

Really cool post, thanks for the pics.

If you don’t mind me asking, what do you use the truck for that you hit 330K that fast?

That’s the 2.7L . Basically bulletproof engine and you left it stock. Wow. Hope mine gets that far .

I am very pleased (but not surprised) that your 2.7L is still going strong after 330K (even on original spark plugs). The auto transmission holding up this long with only one fluid change is very good to hear.

I'd still change mine at probably 90k miles on the 2.7L just because I do plenty of short trips that tend to get carbon buildup
OP's 300k miles definitely highway driving with little downtime and that's probably equivalent to 150k miles of mixed driving's worth of wear and tear

I bought a lifetime subscription to Sirius, trying to get my money's worth.
Really I own a service company and cover all of NC , parts of SC and VA. Since 2008 all we use and ever used is Toyotas. This is my 3rd Taco 2.7, the last one gen 2 had 389k and was running perfect when I sold it. On the weekend I drive a 2020 Tundra.
I have to say the Pioneer Carplay was installed the week I got the trunk and has performed flawlessly the whole time.
