Not for Starlink with their low 340 mile orbits. I typically see about 35-50ms compared to 600ms on Hughesnet or Viasat with geostationary 22,000 mile orbits.

And unlike EVERY satellite constellation of the past, SpaceX thus far is the only one who has programmed there little guys to renter the atmosphere and burn up into nothing at the end of life.
Everyone else has moved there washing machine sized bullet, UP into a higher orbit where it’s orbit will never decay.
And speaking of decay, that is something that the old space junk will never do. It will circle the earth FOREVER. Or until we start removing it. Haha
