My street in San Diego, Ca. (92131) has had no major repair, or resurfacing in the 37 years that I have lived here. My neighbors and I have contacted the City Departments responsible for road maintenance many, many times and only get at best, minuscule patch jobs. We have heard every excuse in the world as to why the street cannot be properly repaired. It's "3rd World" Municipal Government responses to immediate issues (Like Homeless encampments) that are ruining our cities.

I test drove a 2018 model 3 Tesla a few weeks back and I was surprised how much I loved it. The tech was very cool, and I liked the comfort and design but the best was the acceleration. Unfortunately it was the rwd model and if I spend the money on one I would want the awd model. I can definitely see getting one for my next vehicle but I think there are times when its nice to have a truck so Id probably want to keep the truck too.

No one really “needs” anything. We want things then make excuses why we need it…

Our street (in West Los Angeles) has been resurfaced at least twice since moving here in 2012, and we've seen other nearby streets in our neighborhood resurfaced at least 3+ times. But then I drive on streets just outside of our immediate neighborhood that are in complete disrepair (large potholes, uneven pavement, etc.). It's mind-boggling...

When we moved from Alaska to Texas I sold the Tacoma and bought a Tesla. It works for us here, but wouldn't have worked where we lived before.

If they aren’t building a dedicated chassis for the electric version, I wouldn’t be surprised. That article is completely speculative that the electric Tacoma would be based on the ICE Tacoma.

Plenty of storage up front is my guess. Maybe it will be insulated for beer storage, maybe a plug for a beer cooler?

Na, gas went down a whole 2 cents over the weekend, it's now: $6.29/$6.49/$6.59 a gallon, pretty soon they'll be giving it away.
