    :bananadance::bananadance::kona:Just mounted BFG KO2’s today:

No rubbing around town and in and out of tight parking spaces. The only time I felt I heard a small bit of something was a slow sharp turn in a neighborhood with a bump in the middle. Otherwise, I feel this is what it should’ve come with stock!

EDIT: stock ‘20 Pro. Only mods are lights and rock sliders.

    PS: Discount Tire rocks :bananadance:

Eibach 1.3” spring upgrades and 1” block. Think I’ll have any problems throwing 33”(ish) tires on there? Not looking to mode anything. Think I’ll notice much power loss with my MT? Thanks all! The adobe to leave well enough alone is also helpful.

I would love to hear from others who own 2022 TRD Pros on this issue.
I just got a 2022 TRD Pro and put 285’s on the OEM 16” rims expecting to have no issues, but I have a slight rub at full lock on the UCAs.
I have read countless owners of 2020 and 2021 TRD Pros have zero issues with 285’s on their trucks.
I think this is due to the changes made to the new billet UCAs for the upgraded suspension. Looking into minimal spacers to correct this issue….once we got the tires on and saw what it looked like, there was no going back. :)

No rub on my ‘21, but after a lift. Some report rub OEM, which I’ve read can be due to poor alignment or people thinking it won’t rub with mud flaps on.

Edit: just realized you want to hear from ‘22s. My bad!

Are those 285/70 or 285/75? And did you follow the tires with a new alignment to add caster? Looks good with the new rubber!

285/75. Have not done an alignment yet, will wait until I decide on spacer size. Not sure I really want to add to much to what it is right now; it has about 850 highway miles on it and it tracks just right. I’ll let my tire guy inform me when I get the spacers on.

Eibach pro springs w/ 1” blocks in the rear. Might switch the blocks out if I start loading up the back. As it stands, I appreciate that it rides as though I’ve done nothing.

Alignment needs done to address the issue. I bet after an alignment no more rubbing.

I’ll be following closely. I have a 22 Pro coming in April and I have 285s waiting to go on.

@JRuss505 is waiting on .75" spacers to see if it corrects the issue.

    I'm pretty sure it's still +4mm

On the 21' Tacoma Pro it's +13mm backspacing on 16" wheels, I think the +4mm backspacing is for the 17" wheels for the 4runner Pro's

Yup. Looks like you are right. The site I originally found appears to be incorrect.

That would actually bode well for 3/4 spacers working well to fix the issue without rubbing the cab mount.

Put on .75” Bora spacers today and the UCA is in the clear. Of course no good deed goes unpunished and I have a slight rub in the front fender wells at full lock…..on the drivers side the rub is on the forward part of the well, the passenger side rub is in the rear part of the well. Heat gun and a little trimming fixed it.
Because I’m OCD, I thought the wheel poke from these spacers looked a little less on the drivers side than the passenger side. I measured it and it’s about 1/8th of an inch difference. No one else will notice, but they apparently didn’t quite center the rear axle at the factory. Just glad it doesn’t affect anything.
Also measured the distance from wheel to the cab mount and it is clearing by at least 2” on both sides.
