Got rid of the kickout on my sliders. Found that they actually just get hung up, and pivot you in ways you dont want.

The boot slide mod I linked was regarding the inner boot. The RCV inner boot is shaped like the OEM outer boot, with 5 pleats instead of 3 on the OEM inner boot, so it tolerates higher running angles without the ridge crests digging into each other.

It was a tree ambush. It came out of nowhere while I was sliding sideways trying to get out of a muddy spot.
