I have been going back and forth on which rim/ tire setup I should go with. I know its really down to preference but wanna see yalls opinion. I came across someone selling some takeoff 2022 tacoma TRD Pro rims paired with Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT Kevlar 265/70R16 orrrr should I got with the 17" TRD pro 4runner rims paired with the KO2 in 265/70/17?

Thought I was decided that when it was time to finally replace my factory tires I would upgrade to the 4Runner TRD Pro wheels with 265/70r17 tires. Then I saw another local Cement Grey Tacoma with the 2022 bronze Trail Edition wheels and I was instantly sold. I plan on going with the Trail wheels with 265/75r16 Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires.

Bronze Trail wheels all day. Personally I'd go duratracs or AT3W in C load rating if possible at 265/75r16.

I like the trail wheels, but they feel a little too busy for me. Also my sausage fingers probably won't be able to give them a good cleanout when needed.

I went with the 4R Semas in gloss gunmetal. I'm very happy with that choice.

Even for your Semas.... worth it.

    I prefer the 16’s myself.
The 17’s do have more tire choices though.

I wanted 17" and loved the look of the 2019 TRD Pro wheels, so I went ART Replica 237's. Mounted Toyo Open Country AT III's in a 265/70R17. I love the look. 20211118_155412.jpg 20220309_113958.jpg

Also happy with the Toyo ATIII's. They've been great this winter.
