I've been putting off responding until I was certain, but now I unfortunately am.

I can't make it this weekend. I still have no passenger side door for my truck and won't before Saturday. Most likely before the end of the month, honestly. Blech.

Have a blast out there and keep any carnage to a minimum! :)

lol I actually have duct tape all over that window keeping the weather out.

    The main issues are:
    1) My truck's in need of a valid inspection sticker, which I'll get this Spring
    2) The bedside is mangled
    3) With the damage, the truck will draw extra attention and is sure to get pulled over
    4) Opening that passenger side door is gonna be a 1-shot deal. The front door is jammed because the rear door is so damaged. They're stress on the striker, so once it's forced open it's not closing again.

I have a a local door lined up. Just have to get the $500 together so I can pick it up. Going rates online are anywhere from $350-$600 plus a hundred or two for shipping, so at least I know the local guy's on par. Still, that junkyard door is as much as a new set of bedsides.

It's just about time to lay up the truck for 2 months and get to wrenching. I have a pile of parts in the garage that need to be installed and I think the timing is right. Low on cash but high on parts and time is a chance to get shiat done!

So what's the deal, is this an all day run, or a day and a separate night run???? Figure I'll stay at my parents in Wall friday night so I don't have a long ride down Saturday morning. Might stay at my friends in Barnegat on Saturday night depending on what time we're done.

Better than race damage. Simple pay-to-play thing. At least it's all bolt-on stuff. :)
