Looks well kept. A bit costly still, but it is what it is.

Yea it shows oil changes and tire rotations every 5K at the dealer I use. I'd rather pay a little extra for a well kept truck. Doesn't even look like there's rust on the hose clamps in the engine bay like my 09 had. We'll see tomorrow if it's still there. That and if they dick me around on the trade in value on the Camry it's not like I need something right now.

Very nice! But, as Mom said when they were trading in her Camry for a new Rav4, "What do I do with my left foot?" I enjoy exercising my left leg, and the right arm... manual shifts are nice in the mountains. Even the "new" Whitebird Hill section in Idaho was still one of those passes, where you just nudge forward to start downhill and wind up coasting faster than any reasonable speed limit before you hit bottom. Me with a '69 VW Squareback, and he with the '75 IH 1-ton and a loaded tandem axle livestock trailer with electric brakes. Enjoy that sweet ride! I'm impressed with the dealer's spec sheet.

I brought several boxes of "who knows how old these are" spray paint cans home after cleaning out one of Dad's shops, and managed to find a couple that worked, including a "bright aluminum" for christian06's Tailgate Anti-Theft Device. It's just as brilliant as those wheel 'covers'... At the refuse transfer station, I was told that old cans of spray paint should just be tossed in household refuse. Three dozen (or more?) cans? Could have been a case of, "I don't think what's left will cover this project so I'll get a new can that will." <G> Dad and Mom made plain they were not there to entertain visitors, so Dad would line up projects, then call to see if I'd drive over for a weekend to work hard and we'd knock things out. When calling it a day, I'd be invited to join him for "doctor's orders." Doc would ask him at his annual physical about his regimen, he'd explain that at the end of the day he'd have a Coors and a small bowl of chips. "Well, you're doing fine, so keep doing what you're doing," were the doctors orders.
