    480 r traverse, the load bars are the areo ones and the locks are well worth it.

    It was very easy to install following the directions. The fairing however i had to mess around with it to get it nice and flush.

    I will be getting a basket and putting my Spare tire up there. I didnt want to loose the bed space for the spare.

    very nice! my brother has the aero bars on his mitsubishi outlander, an I have the regular ones on mine. i've been curious how the aero bars would look on a tacoma ever since he got them. you're really going to enjoy how versitile a roof rack makes your truck.

    the fairing does wonders for that.... i had mine on for a half hour before i went back out and got the fairing. even at 40mph, it whistled like crazy. still some noise with the fairing, but no whistle.

    before i built my light rack, i jsut bent a couple pieces of aluminum

    as for running the wires, if you look under the black strips uf rubber going down the roof, you'll find some adhesive foam covering holes that are there to bolt on the factory rack, i just ran my wires through those, and down the a-pillar

    Is that the 58" bars and a 44" fairing? That is what the Thule Fit Guide spec'd But I wondered how it looked on our trucks.

    Did you choose the 480r traverse, thats what i chose if you choose a different base then maybe the bars have to be longer but i cant imagine 5 inches more on the bar it would look nasty.

    i forget the exact length, but i have the longer bars. they can look a little odd at times, but i get lots of use out of the extra width. especially noy that i put the light rack on top.
