Since y’all like dog posts, here is my sad pup. She had TPLO (basically dog ACL surgery but with more bone cutting/plates/screws) and meniscus surgery today. She gets to hang in her box with the cone of shame for the next two weeks

 

Get well pup. We wanna see you hanging out that window soon!

Wish I could give her extra treats, but she’s supposed to be on a limited/reduced diet due to no activity

Just applied for elk tonight. I picked Unit 15, so far I've hunted 44 and 20. I wasn't too impressed with those places so it was time for a different area.

 

Happen to be in Steamboat yesterday? Saw my first Lime Pro and can't image there's too many around.

the CPW website was declining tags and licenses at 6pm last night. Deadline was at 8pm
Ever since parks got involved, it's been a clusterfuck. I didn't get to apply either, so waiting for otc leftover draws.

 

one of my girlfriends and my dogs had this done in october. They had to use two plates since he is a 122lb Shepard haha. That boy is never playing fetch again

 

My advice is getting some mentally stimulating toys puzzles and using some wet dog food or like pumpkin or sweet potato as the treat. Since they cant walk it helped us alot give him some sort of stimulation

 

My plotthound mix just got her results back and needs the same surgery
