If I had a scale, I'd go to the basement and weigh it for you, but it's ... relatively heavy.

I do have an earlier one with the thick, waterproof cover. I think I saw that it changed slightly since then, but I imagine it didn't lose a lot of weight.

Good to know, I’m a big fan of the Exped, been using one in our Flip Pack for about 3 years.

speaking of, who has the record for longest wait thus far? 31 months seems to be par for the course, but not too far off of first place.

Everyone buy @Haven Overland a beer! #156 at 32 months and nothing. Luckily I think I read he's using a loaner Drifter from VO for his Baja trip.

Are the frontrunner doors really delaying the builds? Speaking for myself, I'd rather have the camper sooner. Especially with other good door options available.

    It's DLX son!
I think they were saying he's the frontrunner in terms of longest wait time :cookiemonster:

That being said, if panels for a camper are ordered with holes laser cut for a frontrunner door, it's not like they can make the hole smaller and put a regular windoor or tern door on there. Of course for people who haven't had panels cut, it'd be cool if Vagabond could reach out and let people know if something like their frontrunner door choice was going to hold up their entire build.

    totally misread that. Thanks.
Yes, that's what I was thinking bc I'd certainly choose an option that wasn't gonna hold my build up even if it was less than ideal or more expensive.

100% agree on the tern overland windows. Better product, better customer support, all around mo' better (at least for my needs)

And to keep on track with this thead, im #247 and also recently got the invoice email saying early summer production. but a couple pages back someone in the #190s said they talked to Phil about a June date. i know im pretty bad at math but something doesn't quite add up.....

As frustrated as I am, im in the boat with the folks who have waited so long might as well wait a little (or a lot) longer. met the guys at overland expo last year and they're awesome with an even more awesome product, confirmed for me that my money is going towards the right product and they right guys, even if it takes longer.

Hey guys, I've been watching this forum from the sidelines for a long time now. I ordered in January of 2020 and am order #202, its going on a 2020 Colorado with a 6' bed. Like many of you, I've had the full range of emotions during this waiting period. I recently found a way to have "reliable" communication with Phil, in the vagabond emails there's a link to his phone number that sends you to a scheduling site and he does call at the scheduled time. I had a good call with him last night.

For an update, it sounds like there are 2-3 batches of campers at the shop all waiting on misc. parts (most of which are due to laser cutting) and Phil said that its likely that all the batches could be finishing simultaneously. During the conversation, I told him I have several trips this summer and fall where I'm counting on having it and he replied saying I'll have it by then, "most likely in 3 month". So hopefully thats the case...

Those windows do look nice, saw them on an AT Summit at Overland East and the owner, Mario walked us through their merits; really functional.

agree with you timeline assessment, but hoping with better material availability we may see improvement…fingers crossed. I’m #235 and was told the same “early summer delivery” when I received the final invoice; however, a look at the spreadsheet JasonLee (OP) provided at post 1, do not believe it is realistic.

In it for the long haul, looking forward to having it next season. Have no expectations to have it for the TW meet-up this Sumer at South Padre Island, another trip for the old FlipPack.

Mario walked us through the window functions from the inside and I did not see handles or locks on the outside. With that I’m fairly confident they do not.
