I looked at some of the close ups on those bikes and they look like a bunch rough stamping and casting held together with some chrome plated bolts. They might hold up, but I don’t want to be that Guinea pig.

 

I have zero doubt. Typically they're rip-offs of one of the big three. I was hesitant at first, but I've found online forums with folks pretty much detailing the fixes for the biggest garbage parts. The one I'm thinking about has a one year warranty. What could possibly go wrong?

If I had your homestead I might be inclined to get something nicer, but as far as I know there are zero places around me to bash around in the dirt. So I'm limited to how much time I could enjoy it. I'm hesitant to spend $4500 on something I won't be able get my money back in enjoyment. And if it blows up in the woods, I'll probably leave it there for the next idiot.

@crashdb I don’t know where you live, but for a straight off road bike. You have PMR to ride and a place not to far from Switzer lake as well. Just throwing that out there.

It says it makes 17hp. That puts it in a class with the likes of the crf, klx, ttr 230.
