That brace though! Sometimes I wish I would have went the SBA route over my Shockwave Blade. Oh well.

Edit: For forearm stability of course

I've got 2 of them left(I've let 2 go for what I paid for them). They are SB "knockoffs", but they have the "SB" on the end cap. I grabbed 5 for $150
My 17 Designs folder has the KAK Shockwave on it.

I saw some of the knockoff SBA’s somewhere, can’t really remember where. Maybe Reddit? I thought about snagging one. How’s the fit and feel on the knockoffs?

I've never had a real one in my hands, but the 2 I have used work. The adjust easily and have a good fit to them. That said, I'm not an "operator", so my thoughts probably don't mean shit

@Brian422 picked up one of mine from me.

I have read that some people had to knock the burrs of the inside of the tube. The ones I used didn't have that problem.

Its identical to the real thing. Has the logos and everything on there. Itd be hard to tell it was a fake. I shot about 60 rounds with it this weekend and felt solid.

Is the SBA adjustable without using any tools? The buffer tube that came with my blade is dimpled but the blade itself uses a screw to lock it in place. So adjusting takes some time, kind of annoying.

I'll let you buy one of the ones I bought for $30. I had to buy 5 so that they'd ship them  I honestly have no use for the last 2. I can shoot you some pics when I get home if you'd like

I'm liking the Alabama thread! Cool to see more local Taco owners. I'm a northern transplant in South AL, going on 10+ years -- originally from Lancaster, PA. Since I'm newish here, it's been unreal how many members are out west in CA, OR and WA.

On the subject of pistol braces, I love my legit SBA3. But I wouldn't have minded spending a fraction of the price...

    Sup dude

I might have spent the money on the real deal if it were a duty pistol, but for what mine are.....I just couldn't justify it. I bought Chinese knockoffs on that one :anonymous:

    Nice pew pew :D

Thanks! I got mine when ordering most of the other parts for this build from primary arms. Think I saved a slight percentage. Lol.

Super convenient for "storage." It *might* add some rigidity, if you happen to need any.
