You can do the same thing with an exhaust system. If you have a drone at a specific RPM, you can add a dead-end tube to the exhaust pipe cut to a specific length determined by RPM and cylinder count (because a 4cyl at 2000rpm fires at the same frequency as a V8 at 1000 and frequency is tied directly to wavelength) that bounces the pulses back and cancels out that specific frequency.

I'm familiar with the concept, I just didn't know that was what the big empty box was for.

Didn't do anything to my Tacoma, but it was right there...

My buddy works for Rivian. Finished up early and stopped by work to show off the R1T since I hadn't actually seen one up close yet. Of course he parks it in "off-road mode".

Such a cool vehicle. I get the styling isn't for everyone, but I really like it. This one is apparently one of the pre-production models. VIN ends with two letters. Pretty cool he gets to occasionally go on service calls and mess with these things.

Not years, but six months. The tops are fine. It's the underside and forward faces that have been sandblasted by flying gravel and now show surface rust, until I bomb down a wash. I'm considering other options like POR15 or some kind of bed liner stuff, but am open to suggestions. I also noticed that my cab's pinch weld on the front driver's side is occasionally bumping on the top of the slider, so I might have to pound that back too.

Guess it's a good thing it's still taking up space in the garage from when I replaced that assembly with a straight silicone duct. It'll go back on if I ever trade-in.

I really like the look of this truck, and saw a video review of it (loved that too), but it has been delayed multiple times and the stock is going down (again). Something about this company makes me skeptical they'll actually pull it off, but I hope they do.

Got an unwanted pinstripe from an unknown asshole. Any suggestions on how to get this out without breaking the bank. I’ve already tried to use Meguiars and it’s just a little too deep for that.

No money, all went to truck...
I'm skeptical of them pulling it off too, or ford, or Tesla...

People always criticize toyota for being behind with technology and innovation but when they do something, they do it right.

These other guys, lots of show and talk but no truck yet....

If you get it wet and it goes away then you can wet-sand and/or polish it out. If it stays there clear as day.. you'll need it paint-filled.
