True.. But, after 3 years with it, I'd trade it for another locker in a second.

Get out of the street trucks section if you just want to antagonize people.

Haha! Seems weird to want a feature that doesn't get you out of anything. :D

Hill climbing. @907rx7 Didn't get my other quotes, just the one he wanted. Crawl Control has helped me get over some sketchy hills.

Fair enough. I've tried it a few times with mixed results. I wouldn't want to not have it, given the choice.

I'll definitely add one if I ever regear!

I ordered an SOS Performance kit yesterday morning and it’s already in my hands today.

Because of the holiday weekend, it’ll be installed Tuesday at a local suspension shop.

My pavement princess. Raven is lowered on the SOS 2/3.5 kit. Needs a bit more low, but I don’t want to give up any more suspension travel. Rolling on Ram 1500 wheels and 255/55/18 Wildpeaks with 1.5” non-hubcentric spacers. Sticks out about 1” or maybe a bit more.

Only cosmetic so far, removed front air dam, removed running boards, removed splash gauards, added soft tonneau cover, a few dress up items on the interior.
I really like the look of the SOS drop kit. Plan on doing that mod at some point on my 3.5L 2WD ‘22 AC SR-SX. Would also love to add a manual transmission but I think the days of rowing your own are a thing of the past.

Sketchman- where in NY are you and Raven? I’m in the HV near Route 84.

Little suburb on the outskirts of Syracuse. I actually blew a front shock recently. Rears are still good. I think because the rears get a lower mount relocation but the fronts don’t get adjusted.

Gonna try to fix that when I install new ones. I noticed a loss of damping in front as soon as I installed the kit, but I just lived with it till one blew. Apparently being that compressed wasn’t good for them. Only got 12k on the truck. Kinda disappointing that the kit doesn’t address that.

But otherwise I’m happy with it.

Thanks for the response and what to look out for if I do the mod.
Just mounted my new tires today - 265/70-16 on the stock black alloys. They destroyed my stripes on the wheels. Will have to redo them at some point.
Did not get to the exhaust today.

MetricMedal - 1 question for you. What grill is on your AC? Love the look of it. I am a big fan of your lowered stance. Any issues with it so far. I was planning on installing the SOS kit myself in the spring. Picked up a set of 4Runner OR wheels and plan on running 265-65/17 tires still not sure which ones yet. Was thinking Cooper AT3 or something similar. Did you install the sway bar yet?

I'm pretty sure that's a billet T-Rex grille. The newer versions retain the emblem so tss works.

Here are the new shoes on my ride. My red stripes were destroyed during the installation process. Love the look.
