Anyone know how much money I have made as a comedian? None... :)

Well, pretty good day, even if not a wrap. Wire by wire. Ran into several more wires completely oxidized inside - just disintegrated when stripped - replaced them all. Guy must have left his wiring scraps outside. Anything that had to be fixed or relocated got solder shrunk, and then covered with shrink.

    20220406_130806.jpg

And I got the panels in and wired. Have to finish the two lighting circuits in the grille area, and redoing the special DRL/Fog relay he messed-up up there; might as well clean it all up. Everything working properly except the front cam - which could just be the cam it's so cheap. I'll worry about that at the end.

Wrap it up tomorrow? And back to potted plants!

    Good morning Porchatonian People’s.
    @Devious6
You can attack this project if you’re so inclined.
Overhauling 2 Edelbrock 600cfm Carbs for a supercharged Chevy Truck.

    Throttle base’s are worn out.
    Sat for a few years
Carbs were nowhere near working together.
My son told this guy “My dad can fix anything”
Well, you can polish a turd and it’s still a turd.
And that’s what I’m trying to do.

Word gets around. Both my sons' college girl friends would bring me their very used cars to fix. They were nervous even asking, but I always smoothed that right out.

    Morning all:

Looks like fun Mike, I never rebuilt an Edelbrock carb but have rebuilt multiple other carbs, I have played with the Holley carburetors many times since that is what is on the "66", mostly just the basic stuff but there are ways to tweak them!

The awning is out of the tube and the hardware is removed/inventoried. Raining again today so I will drill the vinyl siding brackets to accept the awning mounting brackets. We have a concert tonight.

Just curious, as I need something like this for our patio. What is a ballpark cost? I have zero idea(?)

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gals! My, what an assortment of "retiree projects" we have going! Good luck to all, and I hope yours all wrap up on schedule, with no surprises! I've had enough of those; I dreamed of wire splices.....
