Thanks! Yeah, I'm definitely experiencing that howl now, but mostly at highway speeds or when it's SUPER windy (we're in a wind advisory right now [30+ mph gusts]). I'm not too concerned about mileage, but the howling may drive me crazy on longer drives.

Much appreciated. I don't plan on putting much weight up there; mostly fishing poles. But I may put some ppf on the contact surfaces just to be safe.

Since there's been a rash of gas siphons - and I know we have a screen in the fuel neck but - I added a locking gas cap so they don't try. I haven't heard of them punching tanks yet, so cheap deterrent.

I really like the look and fit of that u bolt flip kit you have. Looks like it mounts the super bump much lower to allow more travel for stock ish guys. The Wheelers kit I bought (non flip kit) literally had the bump stop about 3 inches from the frame. There flip kit only mounted the bump another inch lower. Definitely picking one of these up

Pulled off my front fender flares and had a go installing my Bushwackers. Turns out I am missing a bit of hardware, and also realized the bolts that I thought mounted to the actual fender are purely cosmetic. Instructions say they should be 1" bolts, but they are 1/2", so they attach to the flare only. Pretty bummed, as I bought the premium brand of flares thinking this wouldn't be an issue. Going to swing by the hardware store later and see what I can drum up.

I did this to my 2010 which should be like yours. You take a good quality RCA cable and cut one in to tap into the mirror wire near the fuse panel, that will mirror it

This is the thread i followed, i just used a better RCA

No picture, but I just installed the new bed brace - and twisted off two bolts in the process. One of the bolts was the one that goes up near the top, by the frame, so I didn't have the patience to drill it out. Thankfully there are two up there, so I just put one bolt in and ignored the other one. It's a temporary fix, but it's a fix.

Is this plug-and-play? I tried an aftermarket fog light switch with an indicator and it didn't work with the switched ground for the factory fog lights.

Good call on putting that on there. Its been raining for the last couple days and I tried to get a pic but its not really showing while its wet. but it for sure rubbed off the clear coat and a bit of paint. I could see the clear coat on the bottom of the rails when I took them off.

We’ll see shop said looks like the frame is bent they said it could’ve buckled up above. Time for a flatbed I guess

Got rear ended. Luckily it was very low speed and the new dent in the bumper balanced out the old dent in the bumper.

Guess its time for that high clearance rear bumper.
