I've got the Nokian Rotiiva A/Ts.
No idea how they are in the mud or sand but good in the snow. They have a cool wear indicator. If you want to go one step up they just released the Nokian Outpost.

 

I don't actually practice any of this... I do talk about this stuff when my super religious co-worker is around (or earshot) just to fuck with him The big boss is slightly less religious, but still. There's several times he'll just go "What the fuck is wrong with you!?"

I ordered mine from a local shop, I (think) they were $150 each...they've gone up tho!!
I had one flat the first week, smooth sailing since. I'm at about 30k now. No change in mpg's from stock tires

We used to go out to the mud drags out there back when I was a Floridian. Anyone that says there is nowhere to wheel in NE FL has never been there. Just go out to Baker or Clay and have at it.

Hell, we used to run the trails to the outdoor municipal range out in Osceola, that was bad ass. Couldn't get to it without a 4x4 and no range master..it was chaos.

Oh @G8R_Taco if you wanna go crazy with Nokians they offer the Rock Proof. The rubber compound is used in mining trucks so it's very durable.

I have KO2's, I like them regardless of what some people say about them. Probably my favorite tire.
