yes! look a page back or two for a photo of mine. I feel in my case it might be nitpicking(def not MESO’s fault). My plan is to sand with fine grit and clear coat myself if needed.

Mine had the same amount of moisture one morning and evaporated once the sun hit it. Pretty sure this is normal

Don't think it's normal. Water and electricity don't mix. Most likely isn't sealed all the way. :boink:

I thought there is an instruction paper inside that indicates some condensation is normal. Someone posted a picture of it somewhere in this thread.

    Found it:

Thanks for the Lens style pics on Midnight Black!

I'm still debating which ones I prefer.

Also, I noticed you put black insert letters on your tailgate. I put reds on mine.

I'm biased owning reds but that glossy corners look with your current tails doesn't really go away much with clears. Not sure if you care about that.

One minor nit pick with reds Ill throw in is that the turn signals during the day do seem a bit dim, unsure if clears are better on that front.

Clears might be brighter considering the Reds are dipped in dark blood red...lol!

That's why I've been kinda bitchy about brighter reds...hopefully, someone is reading this...??? lol

Even with clear lenses the turn signals seemed too Dim. Next to the MESO stage 1 it wasn’t even close. I ultimately decided to return the LED tails because of it. Sucks because Ive been waiting for these since pre-order

A foggy condensation is normal (like the photo included in the box), but I don't believe large water droplets/pooling water are. My passenger side housing had the foggy condensation in it that evaporated (and then stayed dry), but the driver side has noticeable water droplets and it keeps reappearing throughout the day indicating a leak in the seal. When the driver side housing is in the sun for a while (as the truck is parked outside), it clears up/evaporates a bit, but I can distinctly see a small puddle of water at the bottom the housing in that corner which shouldn't be happening.

If there is a PUDDLE of water, definitely not normal. I would do a visual inspection on the back to make sure all wire grommets are seated before installing. If there is a "fogging" inside, then that is normal condensation. It will evaporate out. (FYI- ALL lights no matter what brand; OEM or aftermarket are NOT Sealed Air tight) If that were the case..as soon as you drive up into the mountains/higher elevation the pressure couldn't equalize and the lights would probably crack.

There are pros and cons that can be had for both products. Total Tail VS MESO/MORIMOTO. I will say the best "bang for the buck" will definitely be the Total Tail. However..it will still look "stock" in the end. The New LED tails have the unique look and the performance is still nothing to balk at. We have just been spoiled with the output on the total tail which uses the reverse reflector bowl. I have a few things in mind to improve on these new tail light housings though;)

Both are the same output. I personally can't tell if one is brighter than the other. Here's a pic of both lit up (RED LEFT/CLEAR RIGHT)

A random guy in a Tundra waved for me to roll my window down yesterday to compliment the tail lights and asked where I got them from.

@MESO guess you better get started on a Tundra version

If you do a version with a switchback in the reverse bucket I will buy it immediately :spending: one recommendation I have is to keep the reverse color temp the same as the total tail

    Too many to count
I would assume Meso was involved in this, but they are already live on Morimotos website.

The same design was carried over to the Tundra. I did not have a hand in that product. Also..they are preorder so take that with a grain of salt:cookiemonster:

I know it is based off Meso's design, but I really do not like how those look on the Tundra...
    96470.090.jpg

It looks like there is a lot of unused space.
The "bars" also feel out of place as it doesn't really follow the lines of the tail light assembly or even the body lines of the truck.

My set arrived, along with a few other goodies. Got back from work and these promptly went onto the truck. No broken tabs! Stoked on how the clears look against Army Green. Thanks again to @MESO & company for the many hours of hard work getting these sent out
