I found a Sears receipt from 1961 buried in insulation in the attic today, thought it was kinda neat.

In 1961, I don't even think the Berlin Wall had been built yet!

That paper is in such good shape considering it's been in the attic for 60 years.

That is very interesting, thinking how long that paper was up there my Dad would have been in his early 20's and my Mom a Teenager.

Last Friday, the CEL came on; A scan revealed it was an ignition coil. I wanted all four replaced, but my mechanic could only get two on such short notice. He replaced them and got the CEL to go out. The CEL was out for about a day before it came on. I got the other two this past Monday; The CEL went out on its this time.

No CEL at the moment, but the engine misfired when I started it this morning. It quickly went away. I am sitting in the truck with the engine running as I type this, and it feels like the truck is vibrating a bit more than normal.

My truck has the 2.7L 2TR-FE, and current odometer reading is 147,554 miles; I have owned the truck since new and obsessively maintained it the whole time.

Likely gonna have to leave it with my mechanic overnight at some point, as he says there's literally a million that could be causing this, but I wanted to get an opinion here too; Also, I'm going to a few car shows this weekend and can't be sans truck!

UPDATE: Dropping it off at the shop of Pete (my mechanic) on Sunday night so he can look at it on Monday; I do not have work on Monday and there are no car shows.

Look at plugs. How old. What kind?
Stick with Denso for plugs. And just because a coil is new. Does not mean it works. Test out

Spark plugs were replaced in October 2021 and have like 7,000-8,000 miles on them, and they are Denso; I actually bought them at the dealership and my friend helped me put them in! How do you test a coil? Would it still be throwing codes if the CEL isn't on?

Are usually do it you start the truck, and then you go to each coil and unplug it to see if you hear a difference in the engine because you lost a cylinder, if you pull the plug in the engine doesn’t change then you have a bad coil in that cylinder

So you're thinking that one more of these coils is a dud?

Does it only misfire on a warm startup. 2tr-fe here and had a leaky injector and my truck would misfire only on warm starts. Swapped coils and spark plugs but only went away after replacing injector
