    I remember the show Scrubs was filmed in a hospital that had been abandoned for years, actors had all kinds of creepy stories about working there until the show picked up and generated enough revenue that they were able to fix it up nice. The pilot episode has all kinds of scenes were you can see how shitty it looks in the background lol.
