Music keeps playing automatically

I'm more unhappy when my music doesn't start automatically.

 

I hear ya but at 6am I don’t want Metallica to start blaring

 

Somewhere in your radio or phone settings,or both, there is likely an "Automatically Restart Media" setting that needs to be disabled. I don't know where to tell you to look because I have an Android phone and a Kenwood radio but it's in there somewhere.

For Android auto I had to turn it off from the phone, for USB flash drive I had to turn it off from the radio.

 

This happens to me as well. If I quit all the apps the Apple Music app isn’t open. Once I hit power button to just darken the phone and then reopen it , Apple Music appears and then I can quit it. Its weird and haven’t been able to make it stop. Also Automatically opens and runs sometimes depending on what Bluetooth headphones Im using.

 

It's an option in the Apple Music app to turn off autoplay.

Wow never seen so many shite posts on a thread.
This might work:
Go settings / screen time / content privacy restrictions / allowed apps / then turn off CarPlay

Weird, that fixed it for me. Had to do the same with iheartradio and Spotify to disable autoplay when connected to bluetooth.
