Does anyone know if stated value/classic insurance stops you from driving your truck to work? Some of the options were "visiting family, car shows..." But nothing about daily driving it.
    Thanks

This is obviously a question for your insurance company.

    Oh look, another mod....
    Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: No; because your insurance company probably won't allow that. Most classic car insurance has mileage limitations and how you can use the vehicle.

Classic car insurance is designed for secondary vehicles; it's not meant to cover a car you drive for everyday use. If your classic or collector car is your primary ride, you'll need to cover it with a standard auto insurance policy.

https://garagedreams.net/car-facts/... is designed,a standard auto insurance policy.

Good thing this was just a generic question asked on an online forum; certain questions answered surrounding certain topics in a professional environment is grounds for lawsuit. Just saying.

What you state, could be 100% true for 1 or more insurance companies. Yet could be completely different for the OP's insurance company. I was able to daily drive my old resto-mod Trans Am with no risk of losing out on my 'classic car' coverage some years back.

His best bet is to contact his insurance company as suggested.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
It all comes down to just what and how the policy is written.

Classic and Stated value are 2 very different things the way i look at things.

One can have a Stated value policy documented by paper work on a vehicle that does not come close to ever being classic

A stated value policy is a State by State company by company issue to be worked out.
