Get a Glock 19 and be done with it. When all is said and done I think I carry it more than all the rest combined. It just works. Recoil is easy to deal with and it carries a lot of bullets.

I got a Ruger LCR for the wife to have at home. Loaded with Mag-Safe cartirdges. Taught wifey it is the original point and click. Just point it and keep pulling the trigger until it doesn't go click any more.

I have a SR9C and it is the most easily controlled 9mm I have ever shot. This includes many full size 9mm's, Glocks, Rugers, XD, ect. It is about the size of the Glock 26 with the 10 round mag, but it shoots so much softer.

    LOL

That's funny, I just got back from gun store where I held the Glock 26 and I really liked it... It fits nice in my hand with the "pinky" extended magazine and is super easy to conceal...

Another vote for the Ruger SR9C - love this gun. My fiance bought one last year and then decided he wanted the full size SR9, so I have claimed the C... ;) I also carry a Walther PPS 9mm and like it very much (shoots well, slim and comfortable for concealed carry) but at most it only carries 8 in the mag. The SR9C can accommodate a full size SR9 clip with a mag extension.

Another plus, if you are wanting something your wife can handle, is that the SR9C feels good in my hands which are much smaller than my fiance's. Of course, I love the way ANy gun feels in my hands :D but I feel very much in control of the SR9C. Plus, from our shooting with it, it is smooth and accurate.

    Happy Shopping!! :quickdraw:

True, but it's still a Glock.

Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
The Glock grip angle pretty much limits you to shooting Glocks, if muscle memory is part of your training.
Let me know when you want to sell that Smitty.

Have fun concealing 15+1 rounds of 10mm in a pistol.

It can be done (I carry a full sized XD sometimes), but it's not as easy to conceal as a compact.

On my 5 day cool down period for my new Kel-Tec PMR-30 22 mag pistol. Can't wait to let all 31 rounds fly (yup, 30+1 rounds capacity). About the size of a medium frame Glock.

Short barrel 22 mag is really loud,,which is half the scare tactic for protection,,plus letting many rounds fly,,in, around, or right on target.

    1.5" spread with 30 grain JHP's at 25 yards.
