    Sometimes truck stops have radio gear. I know typically Loves has stuff, but not sure about handhelds. Plus handheld CBs usually don't work too well from inside a vehicle.

    I know it sucks not having comms on group runs but I don't think it's worth spending the $ on. CB is old tech, let's move on....

    Not really.. you can get them at lots of places. They are fairly common since FRS doesnt require any license. They are usually FRS/GMRS combos
