What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Can anyone help? I bought new tires for my Volk TE37’s. I had them mounted today. On the first tire removal, the foot slipped on the machine, and my wheel raised up and destroyed the wheel on the machine. These are gloss black, 16x8-0. I’m heart broken. Not sure if I can post a WTB on TW, or if anyone has advice. Thanks.

 

Sharpie? Drive em and don't worry about it? Keep it as a spare? Find a wheel shop to fix it?

 

Just added a fairing to my rack. To me it completes the look. Gonna remove that big ol inno decal this weekend

 

All valid options. I’ll likely start with the sharpie. I would be less bothered if I did it on a rock, but the fact that I hunted these wheels and then had one destroyed by a third party, hurts a bit.

 

Wait, if a shop did the damage, they should be fixing or replacing them.

You order those or local vinyl shop?

 

I order them online from SupDec Graphix very high quality at a great price. The only thing is they take awhile to get them but it’s worth the wait. I’m pretty mechanically inclined so I installed it myself. Everything that you see on my truck I was able to do it myself.

 

Problem for me is that I was a steam engineer in the Navy, so if it can’t be installed with a hammer, I probably don’t have the finesse for it.

 

Haha…I know what you mean and thank you for your service! Yeah, this came with time for me. This is my 3rd Tacoma I’ve owned.

 

Tell the third party to replace what they damaged or pay to have a rim place fix it.

 

I've not had any issues out them tbh. Get them. Probably took me 30-45 mins to install.
