    Water in the basement as usual. I hate the f@cKing rain . I just poured 3 concrete pads down there and put new stairs in . All concrete mixed by hand in a tub . Only way into basement is through the house :mad:
    8-80 pound bags and 15-60 pound bags . Water just barely touched the bottom of new stringer . Water comes up at the seam we’re 2 pads come together. If I would have thought this through I should have made one giant pad . :annoyed:

    Flood plain/wetlands 100’ from front of my house . The water backs up under the road . It was worse years ago before the county put a new road and drainage in .

    But we've lived in places that had issues. It sucks, for sure. Our basement aka finished lower level doesn't even have a sump pump. Who builds a house partially underground on the side of a slope without a sump pump?! :jerkoff:
