I started buying woven split loom for my wiring projects.

That go-kart idea just got real; bought that Predator engine

 

I'd be set on a go kart as well TBH


Just personal experience has taught me the police are more forgiving of engines slapped on bicycles than they are of go karts on the road lol

 

They make little plastic tools to fish all the wire in there super easy as you pull it but I just do it by hand usually and it holds itself on there pretty good but I use some fabric tape in areas to retain it nicely or an area where I think it might chafe against something.

 

Well it's that time of year, gotta buy another can of 134a and make the taco work again lol. It takes a solid year and a half to leak down, not worth opening up and actually fixing.

 

And it's only going to storage for a few days @JKO1998

you think I could look up a harness with that?

 

I mean it depends on the diameter but I've done a few cars with it now and it holds up well

 

does it hold dirt and mud or keep it out well?

 

I've only used it on street cars thus far

 

There havnt been any 3rd gens rolling lately what's the matter?

 

We use something similar at my shop where we build concrete cutting equipment and hydraulic power packs. It does a good enough job keeping the concrete slurry out of the harness

We seal the ends with heat shrink and just use zip ties on sections where we have wires coming out of the loom
