much appreciated, I’ll need it… it’s one thing taking it all apart, it’s another putting it all back together

I was in this situation last year… gas started to rise and 10-13mpg with premium fuel wasn’t fun. Paid $2400 for this Prius, honestly one of the best and smartest decisions I’ve ever made. Consistent 40-45mpg hauling 80-85 down the interstate (subie in the garage is an ex’s lol)

Wouldn’t say no to a supercharged Camaro either

I agree with the sentiment, but you can do better than a Camaro.

 

At least you got that squared away. Easy fix. Being under mine so many times, I engraved into the vehicle plugs, "DS" and "PS". Lol. Yes, I had that problem too.

How's yours running BTW? Now that it has larger bores, and perhaps larger matching pistons? Cannot remember on the pistons.

 

The bore is .020" over and the pistons are oem compression ratio. I'm working on the next bug of mine, witch is the e-fan. I used a circuit breaker. With the 95 degrees here it keeps popping. I have another option on the way. Other than that she runs good. I feel and hear more vibrations from the drivetrain due to the solid mounts. Time for more sound deadening. LOL! I have about 100ish miles on her now. I can't wait to romp on the gas and get some datalogging.

what's the rating of the circuit breaker?

I'm planning on using a 100amp fuse for my e-fan..

If a 2021 Explorer has a 100 amp fuse fort he SPAL e-fan, why can't I?

I tried to get a Pigtail repair kit but nothing's available yet..




confirmed that my e-fan fits the Explorer's connector..



With out an available pigtail repair kit from Ford I ordered a SPAL Fan connector kit from Ed'sAuto through Amazon..

 

The circuit breaker was 150amps. I did have the main 850 watt fan and a small aux fan. Then realized I had the small 4 channel amp all on the same breaker.
So that's why I'm going to get the anl fuse box I posted.

Do have a solution for the A/C trigger with the e-fan?

 

That is what the aux fan is for. It is set up off the compressor clutch. I tried the acid wire from the AC amplifier module and it would not work. My wire had about 3 volts when on and not a ground.

 

I think the only viable option right now is the PAC TR-7 module that can be setup to have a timer on a output to control a relay to a separate fan mounted to the condenser.
