That's good to know. Every so often, my camera alerts me at night that one is in the backyard. They move so slowly.

My neighbors have 3 of them and I would like to do something to them. They are in my yard more than the neighbors. They constantly set off my alerts on my cameras. They squawk loudly at any perceived threat (emphasis on perceived) which sets my dog to barking, they crap on my walkways and two years ago one was nesting with eggs by my blueberry bushes. And, oh, they are ugly looking. They are a giant pain.

Keep reading on the BB about catalytic converters being stolen and shields to prevent this. Seems mostly CA and TX. Does Pa have this issue and/or western Pa? I haven't heard of any issues.

Yes 480v, starter for a NH3 compressor. Had to move it 6 feet to make room for 3 more 12470 feeds.

It's not too bad, we had 6 guys on it then gave up and hooked a winch to it.

they do tend to wander off, I use to see them on the side of the road driving to my old job all the time.

Best part of wire pulling is the scrap! In Pittsburgh we call the scrap rabbit. Worked with a traveler from Philly and they call it furgy(sp) .

Well back home from Philly. And if I never have to drive there again I'm completely fine with it. Probably gonna throw the bumper on tomorrow when I go to my brother's house was gonna repaint it. But ehh prolly not going to.

I don't think it's quite as widespread but definitely still an issue. The shop I used to work in, we would get one every few months that came in because overnight their car got really loud .

Then just before they closed a half dozen of the work van fleet that used the parking lot had them stolen over a few days. Had to start leaving any customer trucks and suvs in the shop overnight.

That's a shame. Could be a $1500 hit. Been thinking if a $350 shield is worth it..... feel as if the authorities held the s rap yards liable it would solve/slow this problem down.
