I want to thank you for preventing me from suffering like you did. I'm just waiting for the weather to cooperate than I'm tackling my own retros on my 15 with MLED 2.0 projectors. Good luck with your local shop build!

Sorry you had to endure this - from the honest folks here in TW.

@tcBob please chime in. This is a category 5 sh!tstorm here. I too almost gave him money for an order thank my guardian angel for giving me that gut feeling to check his tread. People recommend him as really the go to person. I get sob stories but that the shoddy work @Billison_ received with finger prints in the lense and dirt and nix. This shouldn't be allowed to continue

I like the clean lines they produce. I've only ran DDM Tuning HIDs in my trucks and decided to finally do a real projector for her since I'll be traveling soon cross country and would rather avoid the local LE in each town I travel through lol. I love the BajaDesign Pods I have so I'm already familiar with what LEDs can do. 20220406_235841.jpg
Hey look even they included instructions for how to install them

I really like the design of it and how they map the lighting it produces. Check em out on theretrofitsource.com I bought everything but the housing from them. Including prep supplies and cleaners :infantry:shots fired lol

This video compares them all together.

Lol yeah I hear you on that. Gotta lay low. I have them for my 2018 4runner but on my 2017 tacoma the tuned rx350's with osram CBI and slight boosted oem hella ballasts really outshines the Mleds. Don't get me wrong, I love the Mleds for what they are, but I would probably swap to an HID projector if the 5th gen 4runner headlights had enough room for a rear mount projector instead of just side mounts. Either way, gonna be a huge upgrade over a chinese HID kit!

Yea I went back and forth between the D2S? And the MLEDs. Since I'm doing it myself I can always upgrade later if needed but I think with the BD Pods and these I'll have plenty of light. If not I still have the 20" RI Bar in the bumper. That's my highbeam right how since the DDM Ultra doesn't have a high beam.
