I love Android because I feel like I actually own the phone and not Apple. I can do what I want with it.

I love my iPhone for a few reasons:
    1. I own other Apple products, and like you said they all work flawlessly together
    2. I honestly don't care about all the random stuff you can do with Droids haha
    3. The layout is easy to use with very little BS. I easily set up my school email on my iPhone, my friend (with a droid) had to go to the IT office.

For me, it's a great, quality product and when paired with other Apple products there's no other way to go

Get the iphone then jailbreak it. You'll then be able to do whatever you like with it.

I love my jailbroken iphone 4.

Exactly. This is good enough reasoning for you to get an iPhone anyway. I'm just flipping you shit

yea, its smarter to wait for the new one instead of being stuck with an outdated model for 2 years.

the iphone 4 was already outdated the day it came out compared to Android anyways :p

between the 2, I'd go w/android. I've had the iphone 3g and 3gs...yo're locked into itunes unless you're willing to jailbreak. Android is the better of the 2 (depending on the android you get) with a faster processor, and more memory.

but if you're going for form over function, then iphone is the clear winner.

i quickly read this thread and is seems that based on your posts; price isn't an issue, or having wait to upgrade your phone until your two years are up (i have a few buddies who work at best buy so i know what your talking about). It also seem that you have a enough knowledge and ability to rooted and over clock an android device, which would allow it to match the iphone in terms of battery life. So what is most important to you is interrogation into other devices which would lead you to the iphone 4, and it looks like you choose to go that route. Good luck and after a few months of playing with it you will know if you can live with it or not. and if don't i would wait on the moto bionic given that its on of the 1st mobile devices that are rolling out a dual core process, which makes me doubt its battery life until real world test are done on it.

Good luck and i hope you like your phone, (just to put this in prospective i personally don't like apple at all, but that is just me)

If you can get them all for cheap, and can switch at will, why are we having this conversation? The Apple fanboys will tell you iPhone all the way, and those who love the Android OS will tell you the Droid family. This is strictly opinion and personal preference, therefore we can tell you pros and cons all day long and not change your mentality.

It still costs money to swap out. Regardless, tomorrow im dropping $300 for a phone $50 for a case and $10 for a screen cover

and im having this conversation because i want peoples opinion (except for "wait til iPhone5)
