I have the SE and really like it. I also had an SE on the previous Tundra I had. When I sold my Tundra I was able to get quite a bit of my investment back by selling the Diamondback. They look great. I like being able to keep valuables in the back without having to worry about them. It is great for loading up and going on roadtrips/vacations without having to worry about your things. It is a bit of a pain to take the middle bar out when you need the full bed, but it isn't too bad and can be done in 15 minutes.

Last Sunday I installed the Front Runner tracks on just the back and middle panels. I have a Tepui Ayer roof top tent (one of the smallest tents), which will mount on the back so that I can still open the front, as I have a Crossbin 8. With having a long bed, the Ayer will fit perfectly so that I can still also use the tailgate.

I also love the top for the added security. I sometimes also remove the back panel for taller items. Great product!

I went with the SE on a LongB, like it a lot for security of bed. I did the bulkhead gasket per instructions but a little water finds it way in at driver's side front corner just above fuel door! Not that much but!

I didn’t have them install the cleats. I use these alternative tie downs instead. Much more sleek. I carry and strap down a lot of things on the top of the cover.

I wonder how hard it is to install the cleats yourself. I’ve been debating on whether to order with/without cleats. But I don’t want to mess up drilling them

Order with cleats then just take them off and block the bolt holes with button head fasteners.

That will keep it from leaking? Never heard of button head fasteners

That does look clean without the cleats. I’ve always preferred the smooth finish vs the diamond plate

Yesterday I put on Front Runner racks. As I mentioned earlier, I want to make sure that I can still open the front (as I have the Crossbin 8). My roof top tent will fit great on the back. I probably won't keep them on all the time. There are four nuts each to remove.

Same. For my plans, I thought smooth would suit my truck best. If someone has diamond plated bumpers or something, I think a diamond plated diamondback would look good. Just nice to have the option one way or the other.

How was drilling the cleats? Pretty straight forward? These are in my future.

It all went fine. Just measure a few times to make sure that both sides are the same. I also removed the back panel so that it was flat on the floor and I was over it for drilling. Once the rear was done, I put that panel back on and used a yard stick to line up the center panel (if you put that one on?).

Also, with having the diamond back pattern, I used a very small drill bit for the pilot holes. I found that larger drill bits seemed to slip a bit due to the random raised texture, so holes can be slightly off. Overall, just take your time. I did also use a sealant, but the rubber seal they provide is quite tight.

Overall, very nice product. I did also buy Front Runner's Tent Mount Kit (SKU: TBMK001), as it's better then what my tent came with.

    THAT is Beautiful!

Depending on how the RTT is positioned in the rear, would determine how much opening space would be needed for space access at the front end. I Like it!

I saw the DB without cleats and now looking at yours I'm digging the rugged look. Both DBs are very nice but the cleats give it the traction look for when you need to stand on it. Granted, the smooth surface offers the same traction, the cleats would be my choice.

Button head just means the head is rounded and smooth rather than angular. Nothing exotic.

Stopping for food after a great day at the range only to find someone cut/broke through the soft cover and sole all your firearms. Wouldn't happen with the diamondback covers. They are strong, worth every penny and would do it again and again.

Nice build! How do you like the rack? Mid height version? I'm thinking of uptop vs the thorax racks since they Mount on top the Diamondback. Any chance you have pictures of the legs attached to the cleats?

Use a centre punch to mark your hole before you drill. That will help to keep the bit from wandering when you start it. Still drill a small pilot hole first though.
