Stock or not, now I really want some crabs! I'd take some oysters too.

Being on a mountain doesn't work with oysters.

:fistbump: I grew up going to Bull & Oyster Roasts, and Shrimp & Crab feasts.

We were at a B & O Roast once and no one was eating the oysters like usual and the 3 guys got ahead of themselves. I had my own little feast. Most of the time you'd have to wait in a line. No line, no wait! What's cool is, they had three different types of oysters. Virginia, The Gulf, and Louisiana. My favorites have always been from Chickenfeet Island, Va. :bananadance:

I wish I knew someone well enough that lived down there that I could visit, stay, party, and eat the shit outta oysters. If they had a dog or two even better. A trifecta would be sportsman kinda guy with a Tacoma.

Speaking of crabs the wife, I and some friends just went to the Log Cabin Inn in Hancock for dinner. They have all you can eat crabs. We didn't get the crabs but the large party next to us did and we overheard them saying that the crabs were heavy, full & good. From what I could see the crabs were a good size.

Mmm, crabs.... I called a place in Hanover, PA ( Big Mikes, darn good place to eat!) about crabs last weekend. All they had were smalls at
$65 /dozen. Too much $$ for me. I went to Weis and got 2lbs of 16-20 count shrimp for $30 and ate like a Roman emperor.

I'd have to ask where they were getting them from, just because I'm a nosey fck. That's wild all the way out there. And all you can eat! Holy crap! I wonder if they sell steamed bushels to go? Imagine a guns & crabs weekend!

I hear ya! I love crab cakes and make a great one, but when they start asking over 40 a lb for lump, and upwards 50+ for jumbo lump, my surf is always shrimp!

We like to sit down to shrimp and steak. :hungry:

That's good stuff there. If you're steaming lots of crabs, this is excellent! I'm not a fan of cooking with it though like I am Old Bay.

Speaking of which, saw an Old Bay vodka yesterday.

Good! Your Honey deserves a break too! I scrubbed minez tub out yesterday and did the laundry and dishes for her while she was at the hair salon. Every once in a while I'm a good husband. Mostly only when I want stupid shit but not always
