Y’all are too much. Im laughing pretty good here.

As for the cyber truck - id not buy it in its current form look either and id probably not be able to afford the damn thing.
However, I love watching movies that are set in the future and seeing vehicles the creators come up with - usually modified front ends of current models just due to cost.

The cyber truck looks like a vehicle from a movie set in the future, and hopefully just a concept and not the real thing.

I also agree the source of materials for the batteries is a problem if not addressed. Earlier I mentioned “triple bottom line”.

people should not be moved or exploited for raw materials.

Cyber Truck looks like the BEV equivalent of a brodozer, but you can't roll coal. The best the owner could do is put a decal of a coal fire power plant on their back window. Or is that the GMC Hummer? Both of those trucks look the same to me.

I think I'd rather roll coal either way.

I am from Southwestern PA, have family in WV who grew up in the coal industry. West Virginny, the prettiest place closest to Hell…

    Beautiful. But could it turn?

The first VW rabbit could beat a mustang of the same year around the track.

Tbh? Some younguns were making vroom vroom noises in their civic trying to go fast and I didn't even bother kicking on the ICE and still smoked them. In silence.

    Bruh. That's coal.

Most lithium is done via brine salts.

I’m well aware of what it is. My point was is that he’s posting (from a device sourced via rare earth mine) about the impact of mining while simultaneously taking zero issue with how we obtain other resources, or the impact of obtaining those resources.

    No, that's dumb.
I think people will be pointing and laughing at people driving Cyber Trucks. The styling looks like it wants to be a Lamborghini Countach, and it's clad in stainless steel. Are 80's supper cars, and elevators that cool, and is that what pick up buyers want in a truck. Tesla did have enough sense to put real bumpers on the cyber truck, I'll give them credit for that.
Hondas are supposed to be seen and not heard.

I took your post as: Mountain top removal to fuel coal fired plants providing electricity to charge EVs. (there is no free lunch, sort of thing)

Wedge styling has been around for a very longtime. It is a nod to futurist artist Syd Mead. Do like that aspect of the Cyber Truck, though it took the wedge design a bit too literal, needs to be more stylized.
