Sidenote - Have you ever though of blacking out your tails with the vht? I'm probaly gonna give that a go after the headlights since i will have hella vht spray... was looking at THExBUSxDRIVER write up and it looks simple enough..I just dont wanna have it too dark where it is a safety problem.

Most likely tonight unless i run into more problems. and i have. i think i will get them done by a professional. Only because i have used night shades before. and i dont trust myself to do my own tails. when you use niteshades. shake it a LOT otherwise it wont spread evenly.

Hey I was reading your post on "How does the BHLM look with DTRL," and read your quote, "But with my new retrofit I taped it off and lightly tinted the lenses so that it will be easier to see." How did you paint them the first time? and what are you doing diffferently?

(How many coats did you use the first time, versus what you want to do now)

Would there be a way to show me how dark they are got any new pictures?

 

So the first time i blacked out the whole bezel. didnt tape at all. but this time i taped behind the turn signal. so there is chrome reflector behind it. and did light tint. so the turn signal is easier to see. the other way was just fine but i wanted this one to be perfectly exactly how i wanted it. pics on the way

schizzzzzzz, how much did the retro cost? ive got mine apart and going to paint tomorrow, but if you could do a retro.....well so could i. Since ill have a nice sport hood to accent the lights. JKJKJK

Im pretty sure he ended up getting the BI-XENON MORIMOTO MINI STAGE III KIT. There around 295+shipping, hope this helps didnt want shiz94 to answer when he should be putting the lights on his truck!!
