When I was up there, we said it’s not gods country, but you can see it from there.

Since I am bored at work, here is a random BS question... I am just curious...

Maine has no shortage of license plate choices. Which one is your favorite?

My favorite is the loon plate. Honorable mention to the UMaine Black Bear.

Right now I have the standard chickadee but may switch to the loon.

    C'mon Friday!!!

I have the star spangley veteran plate, but if I had a civilian one Id want the old-school red labstah’ plate back. Dad still has one on his 60 chevy since it hasnt been registered since 92.

My father managed a state park for a few years in the early 1990s. The loon "Conservation" plate was the only extra plate at the time. The Department of Conservation would get all the proceeds from that plate. His park would get a nice check every year that he could use to fund projects. Seems like that money must be spread a little thin now with all the different plates available. Ya, I like the loon plate, too. But I am cheap, so I stick with the chickadee plate.

I’m sporting the agricultural plate, not sure if I’ll keep it once I switch rides.

I’m looking for some 265/70 or 75 17s. I have to go to Washington state in May for the summer and a couple of my current Kelly ATs are losing tread quicker then I would have hoped. Just graduating college and am on a budget/would not want to spend $800 on a set of tires at the moment. Anything with some decent tread will do. Let me know what you guys have. I travel Fort Kent to the Farmington area of Scarborough area at time so I can really do most of the state.

Welp. Broke both caliper bolts off in the steering knuckle today. I got one drilled out, then I slipped when the drill went through and knocked the caliper and snapped the brake line off. So if anyone heard screaming from Southern Maine today, it was me.

If you broke one why didn’t you stop?
