I don’t think I could do a scooter. My 250L gets 74mpg which is good enough for saving a bunch of money over the truck if I really wanted to.

I don't want to warm up the truck for 10 min, drive for 7 min, then park at work for 10 hours. Seems like a waste. That's why i had a beater car

If it’s cold enough that I need to warm the truck up for ten minutes I’m not going to be on a bike anyway. My cutoff is about 40°, maybe a little lower if I know it’s going to be a nice warm ride home. A ten minute warm up for the truck is about a 0° day.

I don't just jump in the truck and go. I like to warm it up so the temp needle starts to move, and then I can go

After a little research that Yamaha Razz is not a CVT, its a single speed 2 stroke. So top speed is about 35. Backed out of it.

But I found a Zuma that I offered the same $ for, so hopefully the guy agrees.

I couldn’t do it. I have zero desire to own a metropolitan.

yea I would much prefer a zuma, the metro is a nice city bike, not rugged enough for my taste

my tkc80 tires did way better than I expected, it was pretty wet and we had passing showers throughout the day, really never had any issues with traction

we ended up finding ourselves on blues just about the entire day, the trail markings are a little weird and we kept seeing blue ties on the trees

both of our bikes ate everything we had, it was fun, but pretty tired after the drive there and back

my cousin is learning the hard way, I told him he was going to regret wearing sweatpants... I remember how I was at 15 though

Lemme ask you guys this: if you were considering a Harley or Indian, the specs bring essentially the same, i.e. model and trim, which would you choose?

For clarity, I’m looking at a Road Glide Limited, but there’s lots of things about the new Pursuit I like - liquid cooled engine and adjustable windscreen, but concerned about things like reliability, availability of service and parts.

Ride them both. A decision that big shouldn’t be left to numbers on a sheet if that’s where you’re at. I think @BuzzardsGottaEat has experience with both brands. Service and parts availability is something to consider if there is not support for a particular brand in your area- but if that’s the case the bike itself would be hard to find as well, no?
