That was probably me (#193). When I spoke with Phil on the phone last week he was pretty confident that mine will be done before/around June.

Sounds like multiple batches may be completed simultaneously though which could be why yours is said to also be done by “early summer”…seems pretty unlikely that after 2 years of being late on promised dates that all of a sudden they are able to provide multiple batches at once, but that is what also seems people are being told. This doesn’t even mention the fact that each batch has been about 10 campers and we are maybe in the 190’s now, maybe…. I’d say a lot would have to go right to make that promise come true I imagine.

correct, they don't open from the outside, and also you can't really mount anything to it like i've seen people do with the frontrunner gullwing doors. definitely more of a traditional window than a cargo door.

Not sure what you used for bolts but I used 1/4"-20 button head cap screws from McMaster Carr for a similar application. McMaster has an extensive selection of fasteners all with drawings and dimensions.

Looks solid and considerably lighter than what I have seen commercially available. I like fabrication with aluminum stock, easy to work with and seems to hold up indefinitely. Many projects from years ago have been disassembled and recycled into new projects. More build ideas to keep us going during the wait!

On the flip, feeling pretty frustrated today. Emailed them last night asking if they could give me a window, not expecting a response. Might need to do some retail therapy (where I buy my solar panel).

Let us know what kind you end up with. I'm torn between 350w flexible (lighter, lower profile) and 2x 175w rigid panels (heavier, but more efficient).

I got some advice from a buddy to go down the LG path, as they're high efficiency and highly reliable. But as of last night, it looks like they stopped producing solar panels... so need to do some more leg work. Will do though!

I have a merlin 220w panel i got through Vagabond I’ve been super happy with.
Paired with victron controller and dc/dc charger and a battleborn lithium battery.
It has been a great setup

#247 here, had my calendy phone appointment thing with Phil today, was great to talk to him at length about options and what would work for my specific needs. he said I should still be expecting a summer delivery. With the expansion into the building next door and a change in how they're ordering stuff (in bulk and farther in advance instead of unit by unit right before they need it) they are ramping up production. ideally ordering in bulk means they won't have to wait for parts like they used to. and with the increased space and parts on hand it will be just a continuous flow of campers being built, not just 1 batch at a time. as others have said before, yes its frustrating not hearing from them for months at a time (or even over a year), but once you actually talk to them you realize just how committed they are to their product and their customers. i'm cautiously optimistic for a late summer delivery

I'm getting the 330 watt Merlin and am super stoked. I bought the Redarc Manager 30 at Overland Expo. Still need to figure out an inverter but leaning towards a Victron with enough wattage to run a small blender.

Why go electric when you can get a Daiquiri Whacker and make a nutritious breakfast smoothie before you start your day?

Also had a convo with Phil today. Sounds like the camper is ready, we mostly talked prep for pickup and my electrical set up.

Miraculously, my awning came in the day after I emailed them.

Either way, good to know it’s done… now I need to figure out when I can get down there between some already booked flights out east this month and next. Was hoping to meander back up the coast but looking like that isn’t a reality unless I wait until June.
