Morning guys, had a busy weekend so far. Drove to Austin on Friday to pick up my sister at the airport and we went downtown to eat at Stubb’s (It was disappointingly unimpressive) and then we walked over to the capitol grounds. That was impressive.
Lots of cool monuments on the grounds, several Confederate ones that I’d bet won’t be there much longer. The Texas African American History monument is cool, it looks like the casting mold was crazy to make, lots of details.

The building itself is huggggge, the rotunda is just massive.

Anybody else been there to visit?

We just got back into El Paso yesterday evening, taking it easy today.

A little something every chance we get.
    Morning Mark
    Morning Chas

:pccoffee: Good SA! Well, with the surprise FP Insert install, I didn't do much else, so it gets done today. They called about doing just the chimney insert Friday night, and I said sure. Then, they brought all my stuff on their trailer, and said they might. Finally, they just did it - so no waiting for the June 12 date! Anyway, that's done. I waited since November for this one - but know what the built date was on the unit? Of course, November.....
Another windy day coming for some gardening, pond filter cleaning, and field fence trim. I can't be sure if it's "you know you're getting older when" you can't remember the weather being this windy in Spring, or it's really more windy. Since the Weather Service has now issued 21 Red Flag Warnings for 2022, opposed to 4 all last year; maybe it's not me!

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! Well, made my Lowe's run and got what I needed, trimmed and mowed the fence line in the field, and got the pond filters cleaned up again. Called it good and made a nice reverse-sear Ribeye. Boy I love doing that! And eating it too. So, on to the repots and new herbs today.
